This has been a very challenging year for the Duncan family. In December, our brother-in-law, Johnny, lost his Father, Cline Brogdon. In February, he lost his Mother, Lemon Brogdon. THen Johnny lost his beloved wife (Eddie's sister) Patricia, in May. She fought a brave battle with Cancer and Crohn's Disease. And then in June, I lost my Father, Earley Biffle. A couple of weeks after that, our next door neighbors were in a head on wreck. She died two days later and the husband just got out of the hospital.
We found through all of this grief, we were overwhelmed with the number of friends and family who surrounded us with love and compassion. Thanks to you all for being so caring and helping us through these rough times.
So we are ready for brighter days!
Eddie is becoming a master at playing the acoustic guitar, and plays for me everynight. You never know, he may be on tour soon with Ted "Stranglehold" Nugent.
Tap is still a joy to us. He's the shelter mix that we adopted from the shelter. If you get a Christmas card from us, you know we take a picture of him every year.
We have been very busy, Eddie at work and also helping me with my Father's house. This has been quite a learning experience having estate sales, dealing with lawyers, bankers, and everyone has something to say about everything! So now we are trying our hand at being real estate agents! We will see what happens!
